e(iii) Desirable extensions (3 marks)

You need the following mark scheme headings in e(iii) of your project:

  • Good and bad points of the system.
  • Limitations of the system.
  • Possible extensions of the system.

Good and bad points of the system.
Describe what you are really pleased with in your system. Try to explain why. Describe also some things which you are less than happy with. Try to explain why.

Limitations of the system.
A limitation is a feature or function which, if you had provided it, would have been really useful to your user. Can you identify three or four features or functions which would have been useful to your user but are not available? Why would they have been useful?

Possible extensions of the system.
Can you think of some extra functionality that you could provide for your user? Can you think of some really useful extra features that realistically could be provided in the future? (This part may be an extension of the limitations section above.) How would you go about adding these extra features or the extra functionality? Describe in some detail what would need to be done?
